Exterior Window Cleaning

Q: What about specialist glass cleaning, like glass louvers, stained glass windows, skylights (etc)?

A: Window cleaning is our bread and butter; we are experts in knowing how to clean non-standard windows such as stained glass or special tints. All our operators carry the specialist tools and products on board. We can discuss any special window cleaning needs at the time of quoting.

Q: Should I have the inside and outside windows cleaned at the same time?

A: This gets the best results as you can literally see straight through the glass when both sides have been cleaned.  There is no hard and fast rule though, and it will often depend on the customer’s budget.  Many customers think that they can do the inside work themselves, but when they see the results we can achieve, they generally hand the full responsibility over to us.

Q: My windows are tinted. Will cleaning them damage the tint?

A: Most tinting can be cleaned successfully with the right tools, expertise and adherence to the glass manufacturers instructions. You can rest assured that we have the professional tools and products designed to clean tinted windows properly.

Q: I have curtains/blinds. Do I need to take them down?

Q: Do I need to move the furniture?

A: No, we can move furniture if needed.

Q: I have pale coloured carpet, will this be damaged in any way?

A: No. Part of our service is to take extra care by covering carpets, tiles and sensitive furniture if necessary.

 

Interior Window Cleaning

Q: How often should I acquire window cleaning services?

A: To maximise freshness and allow more natural light and sunshine into your home, experts generally recommend cleaning the inside and outside of your windows every six months either side of Winter.  Feel free to choose between Residential Service and  Commercial Service

Q: What types of buildings and businesses do you service? glass windows, skylights (etc)?

A: Any building with glass that is no more than 20 meters above ground level. Find out more about our window cleaning services.

Q: What happens if it is raining on the day my window cleaning is scheduled?

A: Cleaning windows in the rain doesn’t affect the quality of the job.  It just makes it uncomfortable for our staff.  If it is raining heavily, and the job involves cleaning the external side of the windows, then we will work on indoor windows or covered areas until it clears.  If it’s set in then we will generally re-schedule.  From a safety perspective we will not allow our staff to work above ground on wet or slippery surfaces.

Q: What if I need to reschedule or cancel my window cleaning?

A: Call our office as soon as possible – 1300 885 751, and we will reschedule the cleaning to another day and time, however 48 hours notice would be appreciated. We do understand that circumstances can change for people at the last minute. At this stage we don’t have a cancellation fee.
